Here's a video he posted on youtube about iPhone resolution, which touches on visual and information design issues.
It's an interesting exploration of the iPhone interface and how it negotiates sharing a limited space between interface elements and information/communication elements.

This is an interesting video. I don't have an iPhone myself (darn you, Verizon!) but have seen enough to admire their visual simplicity. I like the point made in the video that in order to fix a cluttered display, you don't remove details, you fix the design. And I think that mostly, Apple does a great job balancing detail and design.
